Juan L. Cook

Juan, the founder and director of Imagine Sounds & Visions, has 25 years of professional experience in the fields of audio and image. During that time he has worked with the most prestigious names, companies and brands of the entertainment and audiovisual sector both as a performer and songwriter as well as in a technical capacity. From the studios of Imagine Sounds & Visions, a company which he started in 1997, he directs, produces and offers a broad range of integrated services for companies the world over: solutions and responses to his client’s needs.

In the United States he has won two BPME awards for his work on the promotional trailers for the series TWIN PEAKS and FREDDY’S NIGHTMARES. He was also nominated as a finalist in the Spanish APPE awards in the “best sound” category for his work on the TV spot EL TREN DE LA DROGA (THE DRUG TRAIN) for the Ministry of Health. His prestige, talent and creativity is endorsed and recognized by his sound design and theme music for three short films which were finalists for the GOYA AWARDS of the Spanish Cinema Academy: “TV” (2002), Amantis Religiosa” (2003) and “Another Way to Fly” (2006).
